This wonderful story is about an Ivory Idol that has been stolen. Biff and Tony have a whale. Solo's Carnival men, Boko the Clown, Rimbrant, and Knocker Felsen are under suspision. Sid Solo has a very big and popular carnival running and when Biff and Chet show off their huge life sized stuffed whale, the croud goes to them. Sid Solo gets furious. Later, a group, Whitey Meldrum, Tim Varney, Baby Face (Vinnie Mirks), and Mug (Mug Stine) get mixed up with it. Frank and Joe almost get killed alive when Varney, Mirks, and Stine try to bury them in a grave alive! Boko has a whale tattoo and so does Rimbrant. The Whale Tattoo society probably holds the answer at that point of the book, but not really. Boko is good at the end, Rimbrant, Varney, Stine, Meldrum, and Mirks are bad. Knocker Felsen ends on cleared from all points of view. A book that you should read!
