    highly recommend

    My daughter loaned me one of the series of these books. I read it and then read all the rest of the series. Ifound them refreshing since they contained no foul and offensive language and moved along at a good clip.

    highly recommend the entire series

    This is a great series for people who want a soothing series. Yes there is murder to investigate but it is really only a part of each story.

    recommend==check this one out

    If you love mysteries, you will enjoy this book. The death of a person on a gondola stumps our detective and he begins an adventure trying to solve the case as well as adjusting to big changes in his personal life. Could not put the book down.

    A new writer?

    His writing is awkward and his conversations stilted. The saving grace is the modern twist on the old cosy locked room mystery genre. We will not seek out his other books.

    dull-simply dull

    I enjoyed FOR SAKE IN PALM SPRINGS, and consequently wanted to read another of Simon's books, but I found this story really boring and the characters uninteresting and predictable. At any rate, keep at it Albert! You probably will improve as you go along. I know I could never even come close to writing anything as good as your work.

    Great story

    This is a great easy read. The third book in the series, it will keep you guessing as to who done it. I was a little bored with the whole Gloria romance side of the plot as I am more of a mystery fan....but it was still an enjoyable book that you won't want to put down.

    quick and enjoyable read

    I enjoyed the book and have recommended it to the Senior Center where my mom is for their enjoyment. I also enjoyed it because it reminded me of one of my trips there and riding on the tram.
