My daughter loaned me one of the series of these books. I read it and then read all the rest of the series. Ifound them refreshing since they contained no foul and offensive language and moved along at a good clip.

This is a great series for people who want a soothing series. Yes there is murder to investigate but it is really only a part of each story.

If you love mysteries, you will enjoy this book. The death of a person on a gondola stumps our detective and he begins an adventure trying to solve the case as well as adjusting to big changes in his personal life. Could not put the book down.

I have read all three Henry Wright mysteries and have enjoyed all three. Am looking forward for the next one.

His writing is awkward and his conversations stilted. The saving grace is the modern twist on the old cosy locked room mystery genre. We will not seek out his other books.

I enjoyed FOR SAKE IN PALM SPRINGS, and consequently wanted to read another of Simon's books, but I found this story really boring and the characters uninteresting and predictable. At any rate, keep at it Albert! You probably will improve as you go along. I know I could never even come close to writing anything as good as your work.
