Joe is so out of character in this story I couldn't adjust to it. The plot is ok but different than Hanson's first two books which I liked very much.

This is the last one in the series by Lee Hanson! So sad, want to read more! And maybe take a cruise! Really good book. Had enough romance and mystery to it. Thank you Ms. Hanson!

This writer kept me guessing and not the correct way. So many players but a good who done it.

I enjoyed this series and was only disappointed that there were not other books by the author. Please write more Julie and Joe mysteries.

**I received this book free from the Goodreads first-reads giveaway.** I read this book in one sitting. It had very relatable characters and was very easy to get drawn into. For being a murder mystery there wasn't too much depth to it but it flowed very nicely. I would consider it a perfect beach read. The only thing I didn't care for much was the way the main character reacted to the actions of her significant other. However, since the main story did not revolve directly around him I wouldn't consider it a miss on the authors part. I just personally didn't find it that believable.

This was an enjoyable suspense book. I frequently look for Lee Hanson books because it has the suspense, murder, legal components that satisfy my reading pleasure. Very well written and a fast read.
