He is so enthusiastic about the concept that he ropes in everyone else he knows to invest — in tombs lower down than his, of course. But all is not perfect: along with the prospect of being remembered for eternity and the best view in the valley of Zyx comes a run of unbelievable bad luck! It’s up to Skeeve to figure out why the deal is running sour even before the ink’s dry on the papyrus.

Great book, in a great series, with a great plot, all wrapped up in characters that will entertain and remind you of your friends. This is by far the greatest comedic fantasy series I've read, and I hope Jody Lynn Nye continues the series in the same style as Robert Asprin (May he rest in peace).
Having Robert Asprin team up with Jody Lynn Nye refreshed and renewed the "Myth" series, and this book is a perfect example of that. Full of great little nods, references, and in-jokes, plus a plethora of puns, "Myth-Fortunes" is a wonderful tale that explores the nature of friendship, dating, and trust, all wrapped up with great comedic flair. Sadly, this was Asprin's last "Myth" book, as he passed away in 2008. However, I believe he's left the series in very capable hands with Nye, and I look forward to reading more adventures of Skeeve, Aahz, and the rest of the "Myth" gang.
Another great one from Robert Asprin.
