Overview

The Preacher's Virgin Daughters #6
Ty had never looked at her that way. Desire burned there, but there was something else in his look as well, something that made her heart flutter and skip. It wasn't until his fingers tucked her straying curls behind her ear and traced the line of her cheekbone that she understood what it was-possessiveness.

Katie is Preacher Trimble's youngest daughter, and she tries hard to be good no matter how difficult it is becoming to say no to her boyfriend Ty. Ty has had enough of her refusals, though, and dumps her and humiliates her. But there is someone else who has been watching her and wanting her all this time. Ty's father is a mouth-watering hunk of man and he's determined to go where his son never could. Can Katie say no to the man who is better than his son in every way, or will he be the one who takes the virginity of the preacher's last daughter?

8000 word erotica short story. Includes excerpts from the Kelli Wolfe stories Sharing Lindsay, Punishing Shelbie, Disciplining Avery, and Tempting Adam.

EXCERPT:

Evan Wright looked up from the TV at the sound of a key rattling in the front door. Not even 11:00 yet--Ty was home early. He sighed, earnestly hoping that his son had come home alone.

A man who looked like a younger version of Evan pushed through the door. Dropping his keys on the table by the entry, Ty headed for his room without a glance at his father. Evan's heart lurched as though it had been kicked when the pretty blonde girl bounced in after his son and pulled the door closed behind her. The happy smile on her perfect lips left him bleeding inside.

"Hey, Mr. Wright."

"Evening, Katie. How was the dance?"

"It was great! We had a really good time. This was our four month anniversary, too. Can you believe it?"

"Wow. Four months already, huh?"

To Evan it seemed more like four years since his son had started dating Katie, Holden Trimble's youngest daughter. The preacher's girl was bright, bubbly, and so pretty it hurt to look at her. Sure, if you stood her next to Kelsey or the twins you might think at first she wasn't in their league, but as soon as she smiled you'd know better. It was a movie star smile, the kind that made people around her stop cold and forget what they had been doing.

It was that smile that was the trouble. She had smiled at him four months ago when Ty had first brought her home and that was it--the afterimage of those crystal blue eyes sparkling up at him had haunted him for days. After that, he looked forward to her visits with a mixture of dread and longing that left him so torn and conflicted that half the time he could barely stammer out a hello to her.

The thing that ate at him the most was that he couldn't figure out why Ty was dating her in the first place. His son had screwed half the girls in Barnett County by the time he started his senior year of high school and had seemed determined to work his way through the other half before he graduated. And then out of the blue he had begun dating Katie. Based on bits of conversations he had overheard Evan was positive that she wasn't putting out. It just didn't make sense. Ty didn't love her--Ty didn't love anyone but Ty--and he had stumbled across too many hints that Ty was getting some on the side to believe that his son was faithful to her. So why stay with her? What game was he playing?

"Come on, Katie."

She blushed prettily and started after Ty. "See you later, Mr. Wright."

When she was gone Evan went to the kitchen, pulled the bourbon out of the cabinet, and sloshed four fingers' worth into a tumbler. After a brief hesitation he shrugged and carried both the glass and the bottle back to the living room and settled onto the couch. Flipping through the channels he finally found an old war movie that was a favorite. With a little luck, between that and the booze he could avoid thinking about what they were doing in his son's room.

Naturally it didn't help at all.

Meet the Author

I'm a nurse by day, and a smut writer by night. It's my secret identity, like I'm Supergirl or something. Only my super power is making people read one-handed.

I'm working on two new series right now. Sweet Nothings is new adult erotic romance about a group of girls who were ignored by boys all through high school but when they go to college things start to get more interesting. These are all longer stories, written as very steamy erotic romances. The Perils of Polly is about a college senior who is always getting into some sort of trouble and sex is usually the only way out. These are shorter stories with a much higher proportion of sex, a lot like the Preacher's Daughters series.

Hope you can find something in there to enjoy, and thanks to everyone leaving reviews - you guys rock!

*kisses*
