The Barnes & Noble Review
Vegas® 5: one integrated software package for DV editing, compositing, titling, multitrack recording, scoring, mixing, finishing, even surround sound. Yup, that’s a lot to learn. Naked Vegas 5’s projects and lessons walk you through the features and techniques that matter most. But it’s not just a cookbook: It’s full of insights and tips for both your technical and artistic sides.

Doug Sahlin takes you from your first new project through rendering for the Web, CD-ROM, or broadcast video. Need to extract audio? Stretch an event without looping? Create custom transitions? Record voice-overs? Produce timed sequence credits? Create video masks? Add 3D track motion or fly-through text? It’s all here -- and thanks to this book’s open, welcoming layout, it’s easy to find, too. Bill Camarda
