Great book with a lot of information. While trainging for a marathon it helped me revamp my eating giving more energy for training. I also have a teenager that plays several sports and is sometimes working out 6-7 hours a day. Was able to make changes in her diet to help fuel her with healthier, more nutrious food. Well worth the purchase. I originally checked it out at the library and decided it was worth the purchase and refer to it regularly when planning snack and meals for training. Also, a good general nutrition book with out being to boring.

Great book for those who already have a base knowledge in nutrition. Some of the most informative nutritional information I've come across. Breaks down exactly how much of each type of food from different sources for different phases of individual nutrition. Great information.

This book has it all. Forget the information you see on TV, or other fitness store. I use this as a guideline when training for a competition or teaching personal fitness training.
