Overview

This first in-depth overview to cover all important types ofnanostructures being explored for cancer detection brings togetherthe diagnostic side of oncology and nanotechnology. It presentsimaging techniques as well as magnetic, metallic and non-metallicparticle-based detection systems, showing combination strategiesfor both diagnosis and treatment.
The result is a single source, collecting the valuable informationpublished in specialized journals and thus often difficult tolocate for members of the other disciplines involved.
