Venus Johnston fell in love with her movie star husband, Jake Parson, or JP as the world knows him, the first day she laid eyes on him. Their life together has been one big adventure. Never a dull moment in the Parson household. Now they’re letting the world get a glimpse up close and personal with cameras following their every move and revealing the good, the bad, and the ugly.

Editorial Reviews

Washington Post
Praise for Trisha R. Thomas

“Nappily Ever After triumphs by rising above the cliché’s that swamp so much popular fiction by black female writers. The book is refreshingly free of product placement, over the top drama, and two-dimensional characters; instead it delivers a fast paced plot laced with humor and peopled with down to earth, likeable characters. Nappily Ever After offers many reasons to look forward to Trisha Thomas’ next effort.”

    Nappily Ever After

Ive been following 'the Nappily series' since Venus went bald. I admire her strength in the beginning books, and desperately hope to find a Jake of my own that I too can feel vulnerable with. I have loved growing with these characters and now, in my natural life, I live for my Nappy Ending. Wonderful read.

    Never a disappointment

I've followed the Nappy collection since Venus's hair was still permed! Lol! This one was a little "slow" in getting to the drama, but it also showed her evolution as a person..... and with the new addition of characters and their "gifts"- I look forward to the next book!
