Meet the Author

Author/artist Masashi Kishimoto was born in 1974 in rural Okayama Prefecture, Japan. After spending time in art college, he won the Hop Step Award for new manga artists with his manga Karakuri (Mechanism). Kishimoto decided to base his next story on traditional Japanese culture. His first version of Naruto, drawn in 1997, was a one-shot story about fox spirits; his final version, which debuted in Weekly Shonen Jump in 1999, quickly became the most popular ninja manga in Japan.

Liking this series more and more once the characters and story arcs got interesting and stuff was happening. The pacing is good and not so good at times. But still the series is fun to read. Good volume.

The only reason you guys had a problem with reading it is because it's from another country and they have their comic books set up in a different way then in the US so it is a little hard to read and understand at first so don't give it a bad review because you don't know how to read it.
