    Nice gore, horrible writing.

Nice idea undone by terrible writing and unbelievable characters. In the first chapter Maj. Mary Sue Bettermanthanyou babysits a bunch of incompetent "scientists" and "ecologists" who cannot survive in the field and diacovers the mutilated remains of one of his charges and isn't really concerned. Then it gets ridiculous.

    Great story

Great story about a group of scientists and their bodyguard facing the danger of man eating grubs while stranded in the forest with no way to contact the outside world. The story is well written nicely paced and keeps you wanting to turn the page to see what happens. There is also a sample chapter at the end of the book for another story the author wrote. Highly recomend this.

    Kill the bugs

Excellent critters - nasty indeed, some adult situations - so not a kids book, ending was just what you expected. 383 pages.

    Do Not Waste Your time!

UGH It's like reading a bad movie on the SyFy channel! Just terrible. I gave it one star for the underlying idea, the book itself is total garbage.

    Super fun read!

If you like gore and action then this is a very fun book to read! I loved it. Not for kids though, it can get a little dirty at times.
