Alice Teichova is Emeritus Professor of Economic History, University of East Anglia, and an Honorary Fellow of Girton College, Cambridge.

Herbert Matis is Professor of Economic History at the Wirtschaftsuniversität, Vienna, and head of the Ludwig Boltzmann-Institute of Economic Process Analysis.
