Stunning and informative! Ever since I was a little girl, I have been fascinated by thunderstorms. However, I never really understood the inner workings of the clouds nor the infinite variety of atmospheric structures around the planet. This pocket guide by the National Audubon Society is a wonderful resource for the amateur meteorologist. Stunning photographs combine with detailed descriptions to create a lovely book suitable for gift giving and your own private library, too.
