    The competitive demigod part 1

I jump up and push my body forward, landing perfectly on the beam. I honestly don't know what makes me so competitive. Maybe it's my dad, Zeus, or- wait. Ok let's start from th e beginning. My name is Lindsay Kimmins, I'm 15 years old. I am an elite gymnast. I am trying out for the olympics. I watch as Gabby Douglas does her routine. Not quite as perfected as mine no offense to her. When I was about 2 my mom noticed how active and flexible I was. Gymnastics is my thing though. On the whacky side of the family......well, I'm a demigod. Myvdad is Zeus, greek god of the sky. Being a demigod is not cool. It's dangerous. I almost got killed when I was 3 at swimming. I blame that one on my uncle, Poseidon. He could hav protected me, sorry got of track.
I am now standing at the podium, for sure have made it in. I won the gold medal. I am jumping up and down, crying like my arm got eaten of by a monster, except this is different. These are happy tears. I jump into James', my boyfriend, I jump into his arms, soaking his USA jacket. He does men's gymnastics. I practice the uneven bars, my weak spot. I soar for the first time sence I started gymnastics.
"SUPRISE!!!!!!" I heat, my family screaming. Jazzy, my favorite sister is crying. "Yo Jazz, want to get me some chocolate covered strawberrys?" Everyone jumps at it, like I'm scary. Tears flood down my eyes again. My mom asks, "Lindsay? You ok?" It's unusual for me to cry. Espically 2 times. I nod and I can't help it. My mouth grins ear to ear. I excuse my self and run to my room. In my dreams I soar again.
"And wait, wait, yep, that's my girl," my coach yells. I'm trying out my bar routine, more then just concintrated. Nelly, a jealous girl comes over. "NO!!You are doing it wrong! Like this," she says, showing me. Coach shakes his head and tells her to leave. She listens and I smirk until he gives me a look too. I look at coach. Tomorrow is the big day. LAD••

Angela Seltin and the Nemian Lion

I ran up the stairs trying not to scrape my spear on the celing. I was trying to find a good corner to trap the beast and kill him. I should explain. I am Angela Seltin, daughter of Ares. I was sent to this school to get a girl named Olivia Perkins and a guy named Connor Finn. They were both demigods and all the satyrs were busy so I was sent to get them. They were only 10 years old so I pretty much had to do the fighting for 3 demigods. The beast was small and stealthy, but it had a great aim and could shoot poison. My strawberry-copper hair wiped in my face as I got to the roof of the school and called my pegasus, Windbreaker who pm I had left the kids with. He soared up and I dodged the poison as I jumped on to his back with Olivia and Connor. We flew to Camp Half Blood and they fell asleep about half way there. I woke them up when we landed and Chiron took them to see an orientation film they have for new kids. The camp was getting so big since the gods had made that promise to Percy. We had so many kids now you wouldn't know this was mainly a summer camp. I walked down the to pavilion hoping to see Layla or Sawyer and talk to them. I hadn't seen them for 3 days sice we had all been on seperate quests to get different kids. I heard a loud rumble coming from the big house as a nemian lion banged at tge barier. We all ran twords the big house and drew our wepons just incase we needed to kill him. I was the first to come face to face with him. He stared me right in the eye and growled. I showed no fear. I hoped outside the barier and hacked and swiped at him until he was just a pile of dust. I went to bed that day feelibg great. The next morning the lion was back. I hoped outdside and killed him again. This repeated for a whole week. The I finnally gave the chance to kilk him to someone else. No one wanted to have their job to be to kill a lion everyday. So we rotated people and everyone only ha to kill the lion once every two years. THE END

    Griffin Feathers Story Contest!!

Rules- no sex, nakedness, etc.. No bad words. Doesn't have to be a demigod story, but I'd prefer if it did. I will post character bios you can use if you need them for your story at res 2 and 3. -NRM
