    Contaminated with Disney

    I was excited to sign up for National Geographic Kids and to introduce my son to informational stories about nature. To my disappointment this magazine has been hijacked by Disney. For example there were stories about animals in Madagascar and instead of focusing on the facts, this stories are use to promote the new Madagascar 3 movie. I'm sad to say that I've lost all respect for the National Geographic brand.

    Love, love, love it

    Really pleased that BN added this magazine to it's Nook Newstand listing. Colors are vibrant. Content keeps the attention of the young readers and non-readers alike. The interactive componet (activities / games) as well as all the articles on a wide variety of subjects makes learning a wonderful adventure. I take my Nookcolor with me when I visit my Grandchildren.

    Good..but print is better!

    My kids were curious about this magazine so we did the free trial. First, it was a little too short and second, they said they would prefer print more. In the magazine, they have puzzles and crosswords that you obviously can't do on a Nook and my kids loved some of the pics, they would have liked to pull them out and hang them up. Otherwise, a good magazine..just not for us!
