I was excited to sign up for National Geographic Kids and to introduce my son to informational stories about nature. To my disappointment this magazine has been hijacked by Disney. For example there were stories about animals in Madagascar and instead of focusing on the facts, this stories are use to promote the new Madagascar 3 movie. I'm sad to say that I've lost all respect for the National Geographic brand.

Really pleased that BN added this magazine to it's Nook Newstand listing. Colors are vibrant. Content keeps the attention of the young readers and non-readers alike. The interactive componet (activities / games) as well as all the articles on a wide variety of subjects makes learning a wonderful adventure. I take my Nookcolor with me when I visit my Grandchildren.

The articles are well done & the pictures are wonderful. All you would expect from a National Geographic product. Only drawback is the size on digital tablet is sooooo small. We are going back to printed format.
