Meet the Author

L'Poni Baldwin (Nipaporn Baldwin) is a teenage African American poetess trying to open up a new avenue in the world of Dragons: Space Dragons!! And she WILL make it "work." Her stories are mostly flash fiction, short stories and (best of all) poetry. She'd love to one day have her own panel at Comic Con where she can do book signings and talk about her book, Dragons & Cicadas. An author can dream a reality!~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~About The Society On Da Run: Dragons & Cicadas (Adventures with Dragons):Earth has seen many visitors, from space dragons colonizing the planet in Pre Cambrian times to intelligent insectoids and benevolent owl gods. Follow the adventures of a wide cast of characters as they encounter the dragons of the Draconizica empire, and Ashuton Karrucci, the god of dragons going about his daily life in Italy. From a story about a small town of dragons ravaged by an airborn virus, to a story about a dragon king on a terraformed Mars, to the story of a girl pregnant with a Dragon god, to the story of an owl haunted by death, these flash stories and poems are not bound by the norms of the Fantasy and Science Fiction genres.Goodreads:

Kazuen stalks into his den, red eyes glowing. Something's coming for him. He can sense it. He searches Kruen's mind quickly. The fool! He gave his real name to Snowy! Which meant the rest of the pack knew it! Kazuen had long given up on that mutt Afreet helping, but if she could get the hearts before Kruen was discovered (no way he could get them before then, but maybe...), his plan might just succeed. But the thing coming for him...wait...Fang?! That wolf...he had ordered Afreet to get his heart as well. Well, she couldn't very well get his heart when he was searching for the very demon that had ordered her to get it. Everything was connected in that way, and, even with all the pressure, Kazuen can't help but let out a small grin. Everything is connected. Total equality. Then he realizes that Fang was getting closer. He'd need to gather as much energy as possible for this battle. If anything went wrong...he would have to transfer his whole conciousness into that mutt Afreet. No one could stop him from doing that, and he could stay down until he found a suitable vessel. For now, though, he hides in a secret result, preparing for the soon-to-come fight.
