    Well worth it!

Having been around for a few years, ahem, I have seen times when references focusing on the Southeast simply weren't available. Esp. for my home state Florida. It's wonderful to see identification books focusing on the Southern states.

    Concise yet thorough

Although it took some getting used to as I am not familiar with Latin names and this is how this book is arranged, I really enjoy this book--it's not too big to take along in the woods, and is designed to be used outdoors. I enjoy having it with me in the car, even on local trips. The content and photos are extremely helpful. I look forward to increasing my knowledge of SE trees with this delightful guide!
