I have bought a lot of books on natural health for dogs and cats. This book is my favorite. It is well researched, well presented (easy to use), and offers solutions for health problems as well as preventative and general care of our pets. Well worth the money. And I never bother to write reviews....

This book is a MUST for all pet owners. It very simply shows how to integrate conventional and complementary therapies. There are great diet recipes for home cooking, and important information on the side effects of common drugs like Rimadyl with suggestions on alternatives to the drugs. After reading this book, I know I can use supplements to help my pets without always using medications. And I definitely won't vaccinate my pets every year but will use the titer approach recommended in the section on vaccines. As soon as I finish this book I'm going to check out the other books in the Natural Vet series as well.
