Kallie Masters has spent the past seven years becoming a renowned reviewer, foregoing any romantic entanglements for the sake of her job. Good or bad, she is highly respected by her readers and peers. But when an arrogant author sends death threats in response to Kallie’s scathing review of his latest novel, her boss sends her on a weekend getaway.

Kallie’s mountaintop respite is shattered when she runs into Hank Fogle with his drop-dead gorgeous eyes and frat-boy attitude. Denying the unmistakable chemistry between them, Kallie steels herself against the attraction, determined to remain aloof and free of the mess this man would surely bring into her life.

    Review:

"Natural Lust" by Madison Sevier was a excellent short story read of just how 'readers, reviewers, writers and companies that stand behind them actually think." Well, at least I would some of them and as you can see from this read that it not a 'fancy reality that surrounds some of these business.' Well, this all happens to Kallie when her employer gives her 'time off'' after a meeting over such a negative review that she had been working on. However, on this vacation she meets an attractive stranger. Now, I will stop at this point and say you must pick up this good read to see where the author will lead the reader to. It will be a interesting ride. Will there be a happy ever after for Kallie and Hank? Also will it leave you thinking if you give a bad review will it come back to haunt you? This was a well written short story that once you get into the read you will find it hard to put down until the very end. Would I recommend? YES!

In this short story, Madison gives a silent nod to the people within the book industry. Readers, reviewers, writers, and the companies standing behind them.
Just as with her first novel, Madison adds truth to her work, giving a glimpse of the sometimes not so fancy reality surrounding the business.
No writer likes to hear that someone didn't like their work, they especially don't like it when that issue becomes public - only some are willing to go to drastic measures to lash back against the people that in this case didn't care for their work and posted a review about it.
The down side, even the reviewer gets a slap on the wrist because of her it.
Honesty the best policy? Maybe not.
For reviewer Kallie, such is the case.
When her boss brings her into a meeting over the negative review issue and how the blow back has affected her personally, Kallie is given time off.
On her vacation, which doesn't start out so well Kallie is thrown into several comical situations with a very attractive stranger.
This novel is a great salute to when things go monstrously wrong and when things can put right again.
I really enjoy Madison's work because both her novels are based in reality.
The reader can easily relate to her characters and can easily imagine being in the same situation.
    I absolutely love it.

Natural Lust by Madison Sevier is a quick and steamy read. This is one of those books that is a quick, fun read and would make a great bedtime story.

Kallie Masters' boss suggest that she take a break away from her job as a reviewer. She has some issues with an author that takes offense of her review of his book. So Kallie takes a weekend getaway to the mountains. When she meets Hank Fogle all kinds of sparks fly. First of all there is anger and then attraction. This relationship makes for interesting moments. There are a few moments of laughter, a steamy scene or two, and a twist that is completely unexpected.

I have had the pleasure of reading Madison Sevier's work before and I like her writing style. If you enjoy a quick steamy read with a little drama thrown in, then I think you will enjoy this story.

I was given the opportunity to read this story so that I may share my thoughts with you. As always it has been my great pleasure to share my thoughts with you on Natural Lust.
