Naturally Native

Editorial Reviews

All Music Guide - Steven McDonald
A pretty album that focuses its attention on the female side of the Native American musical equation, with beautiful underscore cues by Murielle Hamilton interspersed with songs from artists such as Donna Summer, Mary Youngblood, Joanne Shenandoah, Arigon Starr, Walela, and Juni Kae Randall. It's an intriguing compilation that has a quiet strength to it, as well as some interesting twists and turns. With any luck, those hearing this album will be intrigued enough to seek out the movie that it connects to.

WOW....Never thought it would be so good!,

I was really taken aback by the beautiful songs and wonderful performances on this soundtrack. I was also surprised to see Donna Summer listed on this album. I have to say the song is co-written by Summer and is really not what you would expect from the dance diva. She really shows her different sides on this song. It really sounds like it could be a Stevie Nicks tune. Very good. The whole album would be worth your while, particularly for any Donna Summer fans. The clippet of the song truly doe not do any justice to the songs. I thought it was worth it.
