This might have been an excellent introduction to Shin Buddhist thought. However, to be perfectly candid, it is difficult to escape the feeling that the text is marred by the decision to use technical terms in a manner that reflects Christian theological usages the semantic baggage of which detracts from the accuracy of the presentation. Could be marginally useful in the context of inter-faith dialog.
