Introduction

We human beings cannot live for a moment apart from nature; we are a part of it. The air that enters and exits your nose, the energy of the sun, moon, and stars that causes everything to grow, the water of rivers, lakes, and seas so essential to all life... the food you eat, the clothes you wear, and the place where you live, have all been provided for you by nature.

If you take even a moment to look around you, you'll see that nature is always sheltering and supporting us right where we are. If you focus inward and listen carefully, you'll hear messages coming to you from nature. Sometimes like a friend giving you warm comfort, sometimes like a lover sending you a loving smile, sometimes like a mother warmly embracing you, nature will approach you and awaken you to that something within, something beautiful and precious.
