I am a “nature viewer” meaning that I love flowers but don’t like to garden. This book gives me the chance to “plant” my own flowers on a quilted item.

The book contains patterns for bags, table runners, wall hangings, neck rolls and place mats. While it doesn’t specifically contain a quilt pattern, we all know quilters can “get there from here”.

There are 24 pages of tips and instructions on how to choose fabrics, do applique and finish a project – complete with a label. The patterns have a paragraph about the item before the cutting and material lists. Templates are provided at full size if needed and color keys are provided. “Quilt as desired” are the only quilting instructions given.

The final page is a bio of the author. It is always fun to learn about the creator of the patterns you use. Tulips, Iris, Daffodils and more will fill your home with the flowers from nature when you create items with this book. Grab a copy and fill your house will fresh flowers.
