Subject: My Boss.

Have I already told you that I hate my boss today?

Sexy as hell or not, this pompous, arrogant, ASSHOLE asked me to pick up his dry cleaning the second I walked through the door. Then he told me that I needed to take his Jaguar to a car wash that was ten miles outside of the city, but only after I needed to stand in a never-ending line to buy some type of limited, hundred-dollar watch.

I honestly can’t wait to see the look on his face two months from now when I tell him that I’m quitting his company and that he can kiss my ass. KISS. MY. ASS.

All those former fantasies about him kissing me with his “mouth of perfection” or bending me over my desk and filling me with his cock are long over. OVER.

Your bestie,
Mya

PS--Please tell me your day is going better than mine…

Subject: Re: My Boss.

No, you haven’t already told me that you hate your boss today, but seeing as though you’ve sent me this email directly, I know now…

Yes, I did ask you to pick up my dry cleaning the second you arrived to work to day. (Where is it?) And I did tell you to take my Jaguar to the car wash and pick up my thousand-dollar watch. (Thank you for taking five hours to do something that could be accomplished in two.)

You don’t have to wait two months from now to see the look on my face when you tell me you’re quitting. I’m standing outside your office at this very moment. ( Open the door. )

No comment on your “fantasies,” although I highly doubt they’re “long over.”

Your boss,
Michael

PS—Yes. My day is definitely going far better than yours…

Love Whitney's books and this one didn't disappoint. Would have loved a longer story. This book is approx 85 pages.

I always love Whitney G.'s books. The book was funny, entertaining, and kept me wanting more. I loved both characters in the book. The only thing I would have liked was a longer story.

I paid $2.99 for this book and it was approximately 85 pages long. The very short story line could've been more developed. It was a decent read otherwise.

Wish it was longer. Whitney G is always great but Reasonable Doubt had much more character development. Good for a novella

Could have turned into a better read if it was longer and mire developed

I guess I expected a book not a short story. My fault for not converting kb to pages. I won't make that mistake again - 77 pages including title page and copyright pages. Quite the sophomoric little tale.

I loved the story but at 105 pages -- so short. I wish it had more antagonistic scenes/emails/situations in it.

Naughty Boss by Whitney G. is a standalone novella that will have you completely engrossed in the story from the very first page. Both characters are very assertive and capable, neither willing to back down. One has an ulterior motive and one just wants the job, until she doesn't, and then the email to her bestie is accidentally sent to her boss... Let the games begin! Told in dual POV, we get to see both sides of the story which allows us, the reader, to see the funny side of both their antics. Mya London is, by far, the best executive assistant Michael Leighton could have ever hoped for. The fact that she is drop dead gorgeous and seriously challenges his abstinence agreement (for the sake of his company's rep and it going public soon). He knows this, she knows this, but still he does his utmost best to drive her away, overwork her, issue unreasonable tasks just to keep temptation at bay. When his machinations work and she starts to look elsewhere for work he realizes that perhaps that wasn't his best move... Enjoy!

I LOVE Whit's arrogant and cocky men. No one else does them in quite the same manner. Michael is no exception. He may have the looks, money and prestige, but he also has a reputation and an image that needs to be cleaned up. He needs a new assistant - no surprise there. He seems to go through them like water. In an attempt to fix all of the above, Mya is hired. She is exceptional at her job. Unfortunately, Michael is the biggest thorn in her side that she has ever been acquainted with. Albeit a smokin' hot one. Anytime he gets annoyed with her, he dumps more work on her. She doesn't realize all that he has done to accommodate her because he never says a word and she's led to believe it's one of the many perks of her position. Their fights are entertaining, as are all of their interactions. When the dreaded email finally comes into play is when everything heats up like the fourth of July. At one point, she expects to be fired and the tension leapt of the page in response. Their relationship was tumultuous at best, but I couldn't put this one down. It's a quick read that you should definitely pick up. You'll fall in love with each of them as they fall for each other.

I loved this book on so many levels. Yes, he's an alpha CEO. She's a feisty, smart assistant. She tells her bestie all about what's going on but accidentally sends one of her complaints to her boss! And it sort of lights a fire for both of them because they've been working together for a year. Just totally loved it!!
