Overview

First in a trilogy that crosses the boundaries of erotic fiction-from the bestselling author of Megan's Mark.

Too weak to resist young Kelly Benton's attempts at seduction, Rowdy Mackay left home eight years ago. Duty as a U.S. Marine put a safe distance between temptation and the nubile Kentucky vixen. Now he's back home and ready to engage in the kind of erotic games that have earned him and his two cousins a Nauti-boy reputation in three counties.

Once it was Kelly's dream too-to feel the heat of the boy she desired. But an attack from a stalker still on the prowl has left Kelly terrified of a man's touch. Now as fear and desire converge, Rowdy fights to save her from the deadly threats of a stranger, to rid her of her demons, and to satisfy a hunger more powerful than either can imagine.

Rowdy Mackay left his old Kentucky home to join the marines to escape the seductive lure of Kelly Benton as he knew she was too young though he wanted her he even re-upped because of her though he always asked about her as she owns his fantasies and dreams. Now he is a veteran returning home as a civilian with the objective to make Kelly his.----------------- However, Kelly is not the same precious happy person as some unknown adversary assaulted her and was probably going to rape her, but his attack was interrupted. The villain was never caught, but she believes her stalker remains nearby watching and waiting. Rowdy persuades her that they must draw out her assailant if he is to be caught. His plan is for her to participate in sexual games with him and his cousins, but once she acquiesces he does not want to share the woman he loves with anyone even blood relatives.-------------- Though some readers will question the use of sex especially a ménage de quatre to capture a stalker, this is an interesting erotic romantic suspense thriller with the emphasis on the erotica. Kelly is a likable realistic protagonist whose zest for life and Rowdy has been damaged by the attack though her agreeing to having sex with her beloved seems genuine adding his two cousins seems more a stretch as that does not fit her character before and after the assault. Still fans of the subgenre will enjoy the exploits of NAUGHTI BOY (mostly in bed) as he makes love to his dream woman which keeps her relatively safe as that is the preponderance of the story line.------------------ Harriet Klausner

I don't think sharing the one you love with your best buddies is romantic

Surprisingly good book. Lora Leigh has her steamy sex scenes combined with her action and adventure. Most people when reading this particular book may get upset due to the fact that they were leading towards a threesome at one point. HOWEVER, circumstances change. I highly reccommend this book and if something like that disturbs you, continue reading past it. Believe me, it gets better.

US Marine Rowdy Mackay has returned home with the intention of taking up where he left behind with Kelly Benton. But the assault of a cruel rapist has changed Kelly into a timid shadow of the seductive southern bell Rowdy last saw. Rowdy turns to his close-knit group of cousins to draw Kelly out of her morbid fear of sex and men. Kelly is responsive, but as she begins to sense her inhibitions disappear, she fears what will befall Rowdy if he confronts her assaulter. I found Kelly and Rowdy's story much more romantic than other books I've read by this author. While Lora Leigh has always had a knack for gratuitous sex, I liked the more intimate relationship found here between the hero and heroine. I also felt her writing took on a definite sophistication with Nauti Boy that her earlier works lacked. The only real problem I had with this story is Rowdy's cousins, who come across as just a bunch of horny rednecks. These rather obtuse characters were just simply annoying at times and threw a wrench into an otherwise credible plot. Nevertheless, Kelly and Rowdy's story was very interesting and their romance had a healthy dose of sizzle sure to charm readers of the genre.

The premise of the book is a good one. Boy loves girl and comes back from the military for her. He discovers that she is being stalked and has had a traumatic experience (almost being raped). The healing process could be a romantic demonstration of his love, including sex. However, its totally unbelievable that anyone would suggest sex with three men as a way to heal from a traumatic attack. And especially if he loves or just cares about her, he would never want to share her with other men, no matter who they are. There could have been some very sensual moments in the coming together of these two people. However, all the author seemed to do was try to push the girl into having sex with the three men at once. I would classify this book as porn, not at all romantic.

This was my first series by Lora Leigh. I fell in love with the cousins and the other characters. I will say that this book was my least favorite of the Nauti series. However, that is only because of the "almost" sharing of the heroine. I read Natchez's story first, fell in love with him and his woman, then bought the whole series. I recommend you read these books in order. This book has a great plot and the ending is wonderful. It leads you to the other books. I was a Christine Feehan fan first and another of her fans convinced me to give Lora Leigh a try. I am so glad I did. I have every book for the following series: Nauti Boys, Callahan's, Breeds, Tempting Seals, and Elite Ops I love Lora's books and can not wait for the new ones.

I was in Barnes & Noble a few days ago and I picked up this book because I was looking for an adult romance will military men. I didn't realize it was an erotica until I got into it. But, yeah, this is definitely an erotica. Rowdy Mackay has just come home for good from the Marines. He left because he was falling for 16-year-old Kelly Benton when he was in his early 20's. He knew his feelings were inappropriate, so he did the right thing by walking away. Also, the relationship is further complicated because his father married her mother making them related by marriage. The story begins when she's 24. While he was gone, Kelly was attacked and nearly raped. She's scared and has lost herself. Rowdy helps her to re-discover herself again slowly. A lot of people didn't like the book for this reason, but I thought it was sweet. She's loved him for most of her life, so it made sense that, if she were to trust any man, it would be him. The sexual relationship didn't happen right away. It was more about helping her remember who she was and feeling safe to be herself. Oh, and once she's comfortable, the sex scenes in this book are scorching! Even the ones that don't actually conclude with sex are pretty darn hot. There's two things about this book I didn't like. One, I thought the male dialogue was off. It was too formal in many parts, especially the interaction between the cousins. I've known quite a few military men in my life and that's not the way they talk. The second aspect I didn't like was the three men shared their women. I didn't mind the idea, but it never happened in the book. You can't intrigue me, and then not follow through. They had a little fooling around, but ultimately, decided to not do it anymore. Oh, come on. In my mind, you either do it, do it and regret it, or don't include it in the book at all. I honestly don't think the book needed it anyway. The relationship was hot enough with just Rowdy and Kelly. I'm probably going to read the next book in the series because I can't help being curious where the story goes from here.
