Meet the Author

Robert Jeffries has been weaving the Navajo way for thirty-five years and has been involved with the world of Native American arts since 1981. He works with Kent McManis at Grey Dog Trading Company.

Kent McManis has sold Navajo weavings since the early 1970s. He collects Zuni fetishes and contemporary and historic textiles, and lectures on the art of Navajo weaving. He and his wife own Grey Dog Trading Company in Tucson, Arizona.
