For 15 years Nebraska Life Magazine has explored Nebraska, bringing our readers the fascinating stories of the people, places, events and history that makes the state unique. We've tracked down Old West outlaws, rode with modern day cowboys on cattle drives, and explored some of the richest fossil deposits on earth. On any given day our writers and photographers can be found exploring the Platte River by kayak, landing a small plane next to Western Nebraska's Chimney Rock, or exploring the largest man made forest in the United States. Along the way, we experience exciting travel, amazing food, nearly lost history, exquisite art and a culture that largely comes from the settlers that plodded through here by horse and wagon, steamboat or foot more than a century ago.
