When Honey Perribow traded in her cowboy boots for stilettos and left her small Kentucky town to attend Columbia University, she never expected to find a dirt-cheap apartment or two new best friends. No stranger to hard work, Honey is completely focused on her medical degree … until she sees newly minted professor Ben Dawson, and her concentration is hijacked. Honey is fascinated by her gorgeous young English professor and vows to find a crack in his tweed-wearing, glasses-clad exterior.

At an off-campus party, an accident lands Ben in a dark, locked closet with a sexy-sounding Southern belle … and their chemistry is explosive. But when he discovers that the girl in his arms is the same beautiful student he can't stop thinking about, he is stunned. Student-teacher relationships are strictly forbidden … yet no matter how hard he tries, Ben can't stay away from Honey.

And when his attempt to fight their attraction nearly ruins the best thing that ever happened to him, Ben will do anything to prove how much he needs her.

Editorial Reviews

“Bailey puts a fun, super-sexy spin on the classic “hot for teacher” trope [...] The love scenes in Need Me are practically incendiary, and the author’s sharp sense of humor provides a refreshing change from the usual heavy dose of dark angst that characterizes many other NA romances.”
Monica Murphy
“Tessa Bailey has fast become one of my favorite authors!”
Cora Carmack
“I loved every character, and I’m dying to see what Tessa Bailey comes up with next!”
Heroes & Heartbreakers
“a laugh-out-loud raunchy romantic comedy.”
RT Book Reviews 4 1/2 Stars (top pick and Winner of March Seal of Excellence Award)
“This first outing in the Broke and Beautiful series is simply wonderful. With super hot love scenes and a generous dose of humor, Chase Me is — like sexy hero Louis McNally the Second — utterly irresistible.”
Washington Post (April's Best Romance Column)
“Louis and Roxy are a terrific match from the start. But Bailey is a master at portraying a heroine with a complex core, and Roxy’s proud character carries the novel— making readers wish she was their roommate, empty bank account be damned.”
BookRiot (Best Books of March 2015)
“I can’t remember the last time I read a romance as funny as this one. Roxy is one of the most hardworking heroine’s in contemporary romance and she’s so incredibly dedicated to making ends meet. The book, for me, truly embodies what modern romance is all about. ”

## Another STUNNING read by Tessa Bailey. Wow, this author is so freaking talented. Do yourself a favor and buy as many of her books as you can and start reading pronto. I actually liked this book even more than book one in this series. Ben and Honey had fabulous chemistry and the sex was hot.... so hot. Omg, can this professor talk dirty! Yowza! He did act way older than 25 and I do wish the heroine was older than 19 but that was just my own personal issue. I am so looking forward to Russell's story. Thanks for another glorious book Ms. Bailey.

Can we talk about just how much I love Tessa’s new Broke & Beautiful series? I mean, I love everything she writes, but Tessa writing new adult romance is a magical thing. Need Me combined two of my loves – college fiction and Tessa’s dirty talkin’, smokin’ hot men – in one wonderful little package. It was everything I wanted and more. Where it took me some time to warm up to Roxy in Chase Me, I already really liked Honey at the start. Maybe it’s the fact that I moved to the “big city” from the country just like she did, but we felt like kindred spirits in a way. She was just a real and relatable young woman. I saw a lot of myself in her, which just pulled me into the book that much more. I love all of Tessa Bailey’s men, but Ben just might be my new favorite. I love that whole smart guy, professor with the tweed jacket thing and I LOVE his dirty mouth. Rawr. But more than anything, I love that when he realized he did something wrong, he owned up to it and went all in to try to make it better. It wasn’t ever about his ego. It was about fixing things for Honey – even if it didn’t get them back together. He was willing to sacrifice his feelings for her if it meant making her happy. And that’s about the swooniest thing ever. The heat and chemistry between Honey and Ben was intense from the very beginning. In fact, he’d been thinking about her long before he knew what she even looked like – based on her writing alone. That was the first sign Ben would make a good boyfriend. (You know, book or otherwise.) It’s easy to be attracted to the gorgeous blonde, it’s another entirely to be turned on by someone’s mind without having any idea what they look like. Of course, anything between them was strictly forbidden since he was her professor. Who doesn’t love a good forbidden romance? (I totally do.) But, things are a little more complicated between them because of their supergroup of friends. Ben tries to put some distance between them, but isn’t very successful. And I’m glad, because I *adored* these two together. (Them and their super hot sexy times.) There’s some drama here, of course, but it’s not overly angsty. I love how this Broke & Beautiful series is just a little bit lighter and actual laugh out loud moments. It’s a different side to Tessa’s writing – but yet with her trademark heat, creativity and dirty talkin’ men. It’s the best of ALL worlds. There’s a great supergroup that’s building here as Louis, Roxy, Ben and Honey pair off. I can’t wait for Make Me, when Russell and Abby (hopefully) join the other two couples. Because seriously, this group is great. They all come from different places and backgrounds, but they’re all together now. I enjoy reading about the time they spend together and watching their friendships grow nearly as much as I love the romance and sexy times between each couple. So, so good. I received a copy of this book from the publisher, via Edelweiss, in exchange for an honest review.

Why me? Thats what I asked myself reading this book. Ben is 25 but acts 15, really grow up. Honey is sweet but nieve, what does she really expect? The sex scenes are hot and steamy but the story line is a dud. If you love her officer series skip this seried, you will regret it and ask yourself why me?

The first I have read by this author, Need Me is the ‘forbidden’ romance in the series, college student and her professor. I didn’t have difficulty in understanding the connections in this story, and the writing kept me engaged and involved. Honey is a small town girl in the big city: she wants change, she craves it and excitement. A pre-med student, we are repeatedly told she is a bright and clever student, with a promising future. And then she meets Ben, a friend of her best friend’s boyfriend and a play on the 5 minutes in the closet game and we are off on hormone central. Ben is a professor, a YOUNG professor of literature, and aware that his age puts him on the administration’s radar: worried about the potential of student teacher relationships, he really needs to watch his behavior. He keeps a remove from his students, but one student writing has him determined to know more. This was an interesting story: the heat was incredibly well written, but the back and forth and bad choices, the lack of correlation between us being TOLD Honey is smart and her wholly immature and often senseless choices where Ben is concerned were frustrating. I get it – she’s young and a bit innocent…. but OMG…. And Ben, misguided needs a pan to the side of his head Ben: dropping her under the bus and saving your own arse while constantly NOT being clear? You could have (and should have) waited for the term to end… But then, Tessa Bailey writes steam and dirty talk better than anyone I have encountered. Yes, there is plenty of steam, and Ben is quite creative in his speech. The lightness of their relationship, the all in you are my soulmate rapidity kept me from buying in to them as a solid couple, but even that didn’t take away the need for an icy cold drink. Like many NA stories, I’m more frustrated with the character’s immaturity than I ever am with the instant connections: you are supposed to love quick, hard and often until you have a real sense of self and what you need and deserve at that age- make those mistakes and learn from them. What I didn’t see here was much learning from bad acts, or the self-confidence from Honey to demand a long, slow grovel from Ben. For he had many moments he should have been crawling. On his knees. Over hot coals. With a weight on his back. I can’t wait for the next. I received an eBook copy of the title from the publisher via Edelweiss for purpose of honest review. I was not compensated for this review: all conclusions are my own responsibility.

I really enjoyed this book. The story line was great, the love of family and friends was great, the two main characters Honey and Ben meet and their chemistry is off the charts freakin hot. Ben is a the dirty talking sexy alpha professor and Honey is beautiful, smart, sexy and forbidden. She's his student. Their attraction is instantaneous and grows stronger everytime they see each other. He tries to avoid her and to keep his thoughts and feelings toward her from getting out of control but he fails miserably.I highly recommend this book to everyone.

191 pages of actual story. The sex scenes are hot...just sayin, those deserve the 3 stars. I wish I had a lit professor like that. But this book is just hot sex scenes, forget about plot. The ending was too abrupt. The author could have spent less time on the woe is me drama scenes and put an ending on that didn't make you say 'where's the rest of it?'

I have been looking forward to Honey and Ben's story since Chase Me so I am so happy that this one worked for me! I had trouble connecting to Roxy, but I knew I would do better with Honey at the wheel. And Ben.. oh my. Having been a bit hot for teacher myself in college, I can definitely understand Honey's attraction! My economics professor was probably the same age as Ben and I wouldn't have minded some personal study sessions.... Honey was such a fun, sweet character. She is a caretaker and a nurturer for sure and her crush on Ben is really cute. I was really surprised their paths hadn't crossed prior to now with Roxy and Louis dating to be honest. It definitely made their first sexy scene together that much more intriguing with Ben not knowing who Honey was. Ben is in a precarious position with Honey. He's definitely attracted to her and not just physically either. He is attracted to her mind and intellect as well. Her papers have made an impact on him and I like that they are on the same intellectual level. However, not only could acting on that attraction jeopardize his career, but he has also seen firsthand the effects of dating a younger woman can have and he refuses to go down the same road as his father. Ben was one uber sexy professor, that's for sure. He is also a dirty talker as well (but then again it's Tessa and I didn't expect anything less from her male lead!). He does make his share of mistakes in this book when it comes to Honey though. He's not perfect and there were times I really wanted to throttle him for being such a pain in the butt! He doesn't like hurting Honey and he feels like a douchecanoe after he does it, which leads to some sexy groveling. They have great chemistry together and I really loved watching them get to know one another. I am beyond excited for Russell and Abby's story next because Russell is adorable and I liked that we got to see him come clean about his feelings for her. It's a classic case of him feeling like he's not good enough for her, so I'm looking forward to seeing the spin Bailey will put on that one. This is a sexy story and I thoroughly enjoyed this one. I loved Ben's grand gesture at the end- it was so fitting for their story and had me in full swoon mode!
