Meet the Author

Colin Irwin is a British journalist who specializes in country, folk, and rock music and worked for the seminal Melody Maker magazine throughout the 1970s and 1980s. His book In Search of the Craic (André Deutsch, 2004) was a bestseller, and he's also the author of Legendary Sessions: Highway 61 Revisited (Billboard Books) and In Search of Albion (André Deutsch). Irwin was a Mercury Music Prize judge, has presented television programs for the BBC, and compiled albums. He lives in England most of the time.
