Ok, so I totally LOVE this series. It is fantastically amazing. If you are an anime fan and have not seen Evangelion/read it then DO IT NOW!! I gaurentee you will love it. (Both male and female readers) The only thing that disapointed me about this book is that Shinji hates Kaworu. (This shocked me because it is opposite in the anime)

The strangest Angel arrives way sooner then he did in the Anime, except emotions are diffrent. Sadamoto's Shinji isn't as frail as the Anime's Shinji so he doesn't act the way he did to Kaworu, who I actually like this time around, Sadamoto's Kaworu has a longer life span it seems so we may get to actually know him better then in the anime. This volume is one of the best ones for it shows oddly the cruetly and somewhat kindness of Angels and it goes into the mind of Asuka. Though Sadamoto's manga differs from the anime it is exciting, well written, fantasticly drawn, and it leaves you craving for more. Heres hoping Volume 10 comes out before Third Impact =)
