Overview

Some say there is a very thin line between love and hate, between sanity and madness, and Morgan Nichols believed it. He knew for sure that trying to stay on that thin line in his size ten cowboy boots was a hell of a chore. And underneath it all Morgan Nichols was nothing more than an ordinary man, lured by the Lorelei call of Nashville every bit as much as the thousands of others that came each year.

Morgan was caught up by the music, immersed in the heavy atmosphere at the bottom and craving the thin, heady air that waited at the top. He was drowning in the deep, hypnotic patterns of the rhythm, knowing that his heart beat in time to the never-ending guitars and twin fiddles that played in his head.

But Morgan knew something that most of the others hadn't learned yet. The neon rainbow was real, and Morgan had been chasing its glimmer for years, always a day late and a dollar short.

But that was about to change.
