This is my first NET Bible. I've read several books and so far, I love the translation. My study Bible is an NIV which is awesome for it's beauty of language and this NET Bible is equally beautiful. The Bible is easy to navigate with Nook, much better than I expected. It is easy to jump from verse to verse in different books using the Contents button. The information page states over 60,000 notes. They aren't kidding. It's very easy to jump to the note then go back to your previous page, as long as you don't turn the page in the notes. If you do, then just set a bookmark before you go. I'm a little disappointed in the notes, in that they are mostly to do with translation from the original language and not so much explanation and interpretation. I tend to highlight lots of passages but was disappointed to see that the highlight list does not make a note of the chapter and verse. It won't be as easy as I hoped to find a highlighted verse, but it's still a bit better than a regular Bible. This Bible would never replace my study Bible with all it's notes and concordance, but it's perfect for travel and daily reading.

Some reviewers said that navigating between the passages and the foornotes was easy. Not so, at least not in my experience on the Nook Tablet. When you click on a number to go to the footnote the "back" button appears for a few seconds but then goes away. It is also grayed out and unusable on the bottom popup menu when I tap the screen. Am I going to set a bookmark everytime before I go read a footnote? Absolutely not. I will be requesting a refund from B&N. Very disappointing.

This is great. I've used their online Net Bible when on my computer. I am thrilled they have one for my Nook. I need to get one for my phone. The notes are great, easy to use, easy to move through various books of the Bible, great notes...
I don't think you'll be disappointed.

The "NET Bible" was one of the first purchases I made for my new Nook. The notes are easy to access and easy to get lost in reading as well. I will check a note and find that I have read several pages of notes before realizing it.
