This book is an incredible re-envisioning of Shakespeare's sonnets. Bervin strips them down, pulling out the words that matter to her and making of each one a small, terse, and brilliant poem. The printing is great too: the sonnets themselves in gray type (standing in the background, as it were), with Bervin's chosen words in black. Buy and read this book. Was this review helpful?
