From the PublisherThe book has many strengths: it is written in an organised, logical user-friendly format with excellent accompanying graphics, giving detailed and precise descriptions in clear language. At the end of each chapter is an extensive reference list should the reader wish to explore particular topics in more detail. Written by a highly experienced manipulative therapist, this book would be a valuable guide to students and clinicians of various disciplines (including physiotherapists, manual therapists, chiropractors and osteopaths) involved in the mangement of neuromusculoskeletal dysfuncition. I cannot reccomend this text highly enough: I personally found its earlier edition invaluable as a student during practical exams and clinical placements. For those seeking more extensive information on treatment options Petty's earlier text, Principles of Neuromusculoskeletal Treatment and Management- A guide for Therapists, serves as an excellent companion.
