What do you do when life as you know it is shattered beyond repair?

Lilly had a perfect life: a mother she adored, a home she loved and Shep. Shep shared her birthday, her love of nature, and he held her heart. On their eighteenth birthday Shep proposes and Lilly tearfully accepts. However, their special day quickly becomes a nightmare when Lilly's mother vanishes leaving only a note. The search for Lilly's mother leads them to Neveah, a magnificent parallel world, unknown to the Ordinaries of Earth.

Neveah is a magical land where creatures and Specials live amongst each other in Peace, until Jax Bane is born. Jax's evil heart, lust for power and obsession over Annika Levannah threatens life as every Neveahian knows it.

Once in Neveah, Lilly and Shep must learn to believe the unbelievable as they travel the lands of Neveah, collecting followers. Lilly has to accept the fate handed to her and believe that she can save her mother from Jax. Dark secrets are exposed, hard truths are faced, and faith is tested as Lilly and Shep race to find her mother and stop the man that tore her family apart.

Neveah, A Broken Forever, is a tragic love story set in a picturesque land that is full of creatures both beautiful and terrifying. A modern telling of a fantasy story written for adults.

Reviews for Neveah A Broken Forever
"In a climate of war, revenge and fear, you can read, at the same time, about beautiful creatures, amazing abilities, beautiful love. Some scenes make you smile, other scenes are infuriating, other scenes are sad. This book has the light and the darkness." Amazon Review

"A perfect mix of romance and fantasy. A tale of true love and heroism. Neveah (A Broken Forever) will lead you on a journey that will send your imagination wanting more." Amazon Review

Lilly and Shep had grown up together, neighbors and friends, and as they grew the bond grew until at the age of eighteen they knew they were soul mates. What they didn't know was that they were refugees from another world and they would be called back to rescue their mothers. A Broken Forever is the dual story of two life long playmates raised together, one set bonded and married, the other set promised to each other but not bonded, torn apart by love. One man's obsession with a woman he cannot have leads a whole country into turmoil. Angie Merriam does a wonderful job of weaving the world of Earth and Neveah together and making them seem somewhat alike. There are similarities in the stories of the two different generations, yet neither generation has learned not to sacrifice themselves to save a loved one.

A Broken Forever is scheduled to be the first in a series of books set in the world of Neveah. While this does end on a bit of a cliffhanger, it does seem to be a pretty natural stopping point in the story. The characters of Lilly and Shep are so naive and innocent it is refreshing. In fact, most of the people in Neveah are naive and innocent, more so than the regular world of today, and so it makes it a comforting book to relax into and read. There is one pretty detailed assault scene that might be a little graphic for younger readers, but for the most part it is pretty well written for young adults and adults.

    Rundown:
    Neveah (A Broken Forever)
A imaginative fantasy with romance and adventure. This story has wonderful characters that at times are unbelievable.
A journey to another world that will have you turning pages for more. This story is full of romance, adventure, laughter, crying, murder, mayhem, unique characters, and more.

    What I liked:
I liked the journey and adventure to a mystical place. I usually don't read this type of book, but Neveah has changed my mind. I look forward to the next book & part of this journey.

    What I didn't like:
When I started reading, I didn't care too much for Lilly & Shep. But, as time grew, so did my love for these characters.
The beginning was a little slow and kind of unbelievable. I'm a "Happy ever after" kinda girl, and I'm hoping it will come in the next chapter of this series.
