Never EVER Quit challenges all of us to live each day to its fullest.
Terry Hoeppner was a great man on and off the football field. Anyone who was blessed enough to know him can attest to this. Terry's, "Assistant head coach" Jane is just as wonderful. Inseparable during their forty years together, the couple raised children, rejoiced in grandchildren, guided the lives of hundreds of young football players who were lucky enough to play for Hep, and above all else, Terry and Jane rejoiced in every moment they shared. This inspiring book begins when they met in college, their young married life, the coaching jobs Terry accepted throughout his career, and the brain cancer diagnosis that eventually led to his death on June 19, 2007. Many would think that is the end of the story, but that is only the beginning of Jane's, "New normal" as she calls it in the book. Anyone who has faced the loss of a loved one knows that feeling of, "What do I do now?" Jane shows us that God, family, friends, and even strangers can uplift and inspire all of us. Even if you don't read the bible regularly you will find yourself rethinking the way you live and what you want as your legacy. I was so very blessed to have known the Hoeppner family while they lived in Oxford and thank Jane for writing this book. It is a gift to all of us from Jane, Coach, and Terry Hutchens.
