A funny dog named Hic Up, like most children, makes many mistakes. However, Hic Up never gives up! "Never Give Up!" shares positive thinking and optimism, and it is a nice introduction to humorous poetry for young children. The pictures are attractive and full of color.

My children and I loved this book. I think children learn from this book that it is OK to make mistakes, but to keep trying. The illustrations are great. I would recommend this book to other parents.

Nice illustrations and a funny character.

The illustrations are nice but that is the only nice thing about this book. The writing is very odd and at some points, doesn't even make much sense. It seems as if it might have been written in another language and then "translated" to english, even though it notes that the author is in the United States. I'm just glad it was only 99¿. You really do get what you pay for.

I bought this for my 5 1/2 year old. I should have read all the reviews first. I agree about it not rhyming at all. It doesnt have a nice flow and I am very dissapointed.

A few pages rhymed but it wasn't consistent throughout the book. It threw off the flow of the story (which wasn't much of a story either.

The pages are less than a quarter of the screen. It akso doesn't give you the option to record you reading the story for your child and it doesn't read it for you

I suspect this was rushed to make a quick buck. Like a bad school project. Don't waste your buck. Save it for a candy bar.

Besides the self belittling & demeaning language, the pictures leave images in my young grand-daughters head that should NOT be there!
