I loved this book- A ribbeting read!

A fun look into finding the right man without being preachy. I couldn't put it down.I loved the frog humor and the illustrations are great. I laughed and related to a lot of the dating experiences. I've already found my Prince but this book could have saved me from kissing a few unnecessary frogs in my search. I suggest this book to all my single friends.

As smart & funny as 'If He's Just Not Into You!'

I 'toadally' loved this book. It's clever and funny and extremely unique. Her description of the 'Long-Term-Go-Nowhere-Frog' sums it up perfectly for me and 2 of my best friends! We're all afraid to get rid of these frogs - who hold us back from finding our prince. The author seems to know so much about the wrong guys - and gives great but funny advice about moving on. Highly recommended for anyone who is dating - and who wants to find the right guy without wasting any more time. And get some laughs along the way. Better than other relationship books by 'leaps' and bounds.

    I toadly LOVED this book!

It's so refreshing to read a relationship book that doesn't take itself too seriously - yet still gives great advice. This was fun to read, clever, and funny, too. The frogs are universal - I recognized so many guys that I dated and that my girlfriends are dating now. It's thematically very similar to 'He's Just Not that Into You' -- but I laughed a lot more reading Never Kiss a Frog. Highly recommend it and it makes a great gift for girlfriends, too.

    Falls Short

This is a very light-hearted & comical book which is what I was looking for. However, it was a little 'too much,' with the whole frog theme (which I guess is expected by the title), the stories are too overly exaggerated & the repetition is tiring. I related to very few of the 'frogs,'...I guess this woman had it easy. To put it plainly, this book falls short of expectations, but it WILL give you a brief laugh or two.

    Great Book!

I loved reading this book. Not only was it informative but quite comical as well. I passed along some tidbits to my girlfriends and they loved it as well. Alas, I wish I had these types of books earlier on in my twenties when I was clueless as to how guys were, I could have saved myself so much heartache and sorrows. I recommend reading this book, I will guarantee that you'll associate some of your past ex's or dates to the different types of frogs in the book.

    A Toadally Fun Read!

This book was a quick and fun read. The stories have lots of truth and lots of laughs. It's a creative and clever angle on dating that's different than a lot of the other relationship books. There's advice too, but it's done in a humorous way rather than being preachy. Makes a great gift for any of your single girlfriends.

No one should have to kiss a frog!

Marilyn Anderson's new book, NEVER KISS A FROG, was so funny--and practical--that I gave copies of it to three of my single girlfriends. If this book had been around years ago, I might have been saved from all the slimy frogs I dated before I finally got married at 42!

don't kiss a lot of frogs to find your prince

In case you were wondering, yes, I'm still single. And no, I don't want your pity, but thanks anyway. I've found something much better that I know all your single girl friends will love: a good old-fashioned book. But not just any romantic, sappy, rub-it-in-her-face-that-she's-still single book... but more specifically, 'NEVER KISS A FROG: A Girl's Guide to Creatures from the Dating Swamp' by Marilyn Anderson. Honestly, I never thought I'd like a dating book, either, but this book will have you in stitches. The stories are hysterical and there are loads of cute illustrations of all the frogs you've ever known! Does this sound familiar? The-Really-Nice-Guy-but-Really-Bad-Kisser-Frog. And what about The Bully Frog or The Full-of-Bull Frog? Yep, I've known them, too. If you're a frogaholic¿ if you're someone addicted to dating frogs, it's about time you took the 12-leap program to freeing yourself. First step: read this book! You'll have a hilarious time discovering that you really don't need to kiss a lot of frogs to find your prince charming.

Single Girls...this IS the book for you

After numerous 'slimy' relationships, I had started giving up hope. But after reading this book I've realized I've been looking at dating all wrong. This is a book every single girl can relate to and all men should read. I loved it and would recommend it to everyone.

    The Frog Log

I loved this book! The quirky stories that Ms. Anderson writes about gave me a new perspective on the men that I was dating. Never Kiss a Frog encouraged me to stop dating men that were wrong for me (though I still may ¿love¿ some of them ¿ I realize they are frogs. And she is right ¿ I deserve a prince!) One of my favorite parts of the book is the helpful insights, aka.¿ribbet snippets¿ that help you ward off the slimy. Now I know what to give all my girlfriends for Christmas this year! A useful, fun and funny book.

    Funny - and so true!

This is a very funny and insightful book. I would recommend it to anyone who wants a hilarious book for a single friend, a newly divorced friend, or any woman who is about to jump into the dating pool...or swamp. It really is chock full of men to watch out for and reminders to help you find your prince. If you want a good-natured laugh, buy this book!
