Although this book is labeled a 'kids book' it really is more indepth than a children's book. Doug writes about a childhood where he moved from state to state and how he excelled in almost every sport he attempted. He discusses the frustrations he dealt with when he first attempted a career in the NFL and people not giving him a chance. He talks about how how Jim McMahon was jealous of him on the Bears and told Ditka to get rid of him. Later on after he gets another shot in the NFL He also discusses the frusteration again of Wade Phillip's idiotic decision to bench him in the playoffs again the Titans for Rob Johnson that cost them a trip to the super bowl. Doug Flutie was a true underated star with the heart of a lion. He deserves a spot in the NFL Hall of Fame even though it will never happen.
