My son asked for a dictionary and we added the book above. The cover reads " Webster Dictionary" which is different from the title "New American Rogets Thesaurus in Dictionary Form". This is truely a thesaurus and not a dictionary.

I would first echo the very creatively written review above! I've not used a thesaurus in years, but found the revised and expanded features of this version piqued my curiosity enough to peruse other entries after finding those I needed.

I purchased this thesaurus and i recieved the 78 page preview, not the entire book. Very disapointed

Appears to be a good thesaurus however the Nook version omits the first letter of each word. I'll be deleting it from my Nook.

Amphyen is the lake in the middle of the plains, seperating Odium and the other four kingdoms, Contrite, Nemosyne, Quietude, and Lovelorn. It is very deep, with numerous blue holes and thousands of caves, ranging from small to large. A drowned forest of sycamore trees rests in the center the lake, creating the perfect home for merpeople and other water creatures. A strange angelic statue, its pale granite fingetips barely breaking the surface, is situated on the Northern bank. Its white wings are half-unfurled, its face devoid of expression. Moss and algae seem to refuse to grow on it, and its mass of tangled curls trail down its 40 foot frame, reaching its silken hips. The only thing that seems to live on it is a school of sun fish, which can be see swimming circles around its waist.

I used this dynamic book in college and still do. I enjoy reading British novels and have found that their extensive language use is better understood if you have a companion to read with.

If there is a way to look up a word without going thru the whole alphabet word by word, then I wish there were some directions given with this download. Would really like my money back.
