    Fun To Look At

    I wouldn't say this book is going to be the first thing I pick up when referencing to someone. It's just kind of a fun book to look at, and it actually does have very interesting perspectives. I really like how it combines the eastern and western views of astrology and creates a profile that is a bit different than all the other ones I've read. It is not too terribly in depth but can sometimes be a bit long winded and have some repetitive themes. Overall I'm glad I bought it though because it is so interesting and unlike any of my other books. I would recommend this to friends.

    A must have if you are into Astrology

    I liked this book so much that I gave it to a friend as a gift. It has been part of my permanent library since it first came out in print. I collect books on prognostication and this one is better than most.

    So accurate it was almost creepy.

    i read only the section concerning my astrology sign, [cancer/dragon], but it was still so accurate in personality and everything it was creepy. usually astrology books i read go for people who are more sentimental than i, but this one was head on. it was amazing. i loved it.

    At last!

    I always wondered why, as a Leo, I was not always comfortable as the center of attention or as confident and superior as the books said I was...I'm a Leo-DOG that's why! This book was dead-on for me and many friends I have 'forced' over the years to read their own signs from it. It even had a few things I had always felt but never put into words. I'm still amazed and I only wish there was more on each sign. It's amazing that it can be so accurate without any other aspects taken into consideration. This book will make any skeptic a believer. If you're the type that those other books only match 80% or so, like I was, this book is for you! Scratch that, this book is for anyone.

    Good for beginners & Info. of the Basics

    This is a great book.Very entertaining & fun to read...for beginners.This book is very general & does not give a lot of detail to a person who is more knowledeble about aspects,ascendents & birthcharts.It gives a broader view for begginers,but me being a Horse with a Sheep(Goat) Ascendent(Chinese) & on the cusp of Pisces/Aries with a Leo Ascendent(Western) & so forth;it dosen't really go into the complexities of my True personality.The only way I could receive a wider,more accurate view of my personality was to mix it up like so:Generally,I would look at Pisces/Horse which are generally my basic Western/Eastern astrological signs.When I read that section,I didn't feel like I could totally relate.Then I tried Aries/Horse,Aries/Sheep,Leo/Horse,Leo/Sheep,Pisces/Sheep(or Goat)& got a stronger representation of my persona;inner & outer.I feel it would be much more helpful to people like me for the author to write another version of the same book that would include Ascendents of the Eastern & Western variety & also cusps of at least the Western astrology so we can get a fuller idea of our personas & personal differnces & uniqueness.Hopefully the author will see this review & accomidate my request.If so,I will be one of the first in line to purchase another copy of this new version.

    Agree...good for beginners....

    I definitely agree with 'A reviewer, a coneseur of Astrology, July 21, 2003' on the matter of this book. He (she?) worded everything so perfectly that there is not much more that I can say, aside from the fact that it was very difficult for me, a teenage girl born on the cusp of Virgo/Libra with Leo Rising and a Libra Moon Sign, to find an accurate description of myself.

    I CAN'T BELIEVE IT

    I went to NYC last night and missed the last 2am train back to CT so I was stuck there and called my boyfriend who with the drop of a hat drove 2hrs down and picked me up even though he had to work that morning. So then today my best friend was reading me people's signs from this book and on my boyfriend's (sag/goat) literally said 'with his keen sensory radar, he would hop in the front seat and drive down to save his fair maiden.'

    AMAZING...

    I was totally blown away at how accurate my (Libra/Monkey) section was! I actually had to sit down in the book store. It's been on the money without exception. I let my ex-girlfriend borrow it... and it the one thing I'm most glad to have gotten back. (Advice: beware the Leo/Dragons :-)

    The bible of all astrology

    I use this book as my bible, I always look at someones signs before I date them! lol Great at understanding who you are, it couldn't have been more right about me.

    DEAD ON!!!

    Everyone I've ever inquired about in this book has had a perfect description of their character. The authors humour and colorful style of writing keeps you hooked, and calling everyone you know for their birth dates.
