BAD BOOK ! No, this is wrong! Not because I am a Edward-loving girl, but because I have read Twilight many times. Edward also said how it would kill him if he killed Bella. He also argued that he would NOT take Bella's life. But, as soon as it was convinced he planned it so Bella wouldn't get hurt. Bella decided not to tell Edward that it hurt her, because she knew it would DEVASTATE him. He even injected it to her heart to make the venom flow faster!And he made her a vampire cause she WANTED to, bad. To spend FOREVER with Edward. And Edward got mad at Jacob because he didn't want him kissing or doing other things with her. After all, every father is protective of their daughters in that subject. Stephanie Meyer wrote a FANTASTIC book. Go to her website, read the first 12 chapters of Midnight Sun. Yes, Edward wanted to kill Bella at first. But he didn't know her yet. He ran away to save his family from hiding if he killed her. But, he got to know her eventually. And, he loved her instantly. oh, and yes he kills people for their blood. But, if he doesn't he dies. So its for survival. Like we kill animals for their meat for food. We need food. And he chooses to drink animal blood to save those lives. Sometimes he slips. Like a vegan stuck in a room with the BEST meat. They deeply regret it. I can say more.Much more. The Twilight Saga is a wonderful series. And Edward is NOT a sociopath.

What is the point of this book again?!?!?

Basically this book has a bunch of arguments about twilight. Glad I did not paid full price on it. Wish I could return it!

This book is HORRIBLE.

this book is the worst book ever. twilight is a FICTIONAL book. people shouldn't take it so literally. it's to read for fun. just enjoy twilight and leave it at that.

new dawn was amazing i love the twilight saga and it revews all the books it is a grate book and i love it and if your some one who likes twilight and the sagas you should reed this book.

Interesting......

While I've only read the fifteen page sample, I found the idea of Edward being a sociopath quite interesting. Some of the poimts she has made are false, a few are actually very true. For example, a sociopath is supposed to be deceitful and have the tendency to lie. This is very true for Edward. His nature does require some deceitfulness but, like she mentions, he could do without a large amount. However, I strongly disagree with the concept that Edward and his family "slip up", making them murderers. Edward's vampire state forces him to kill. His body is attracted to human blood, much like an drug user would be attracted to his favorite drug. Also, many of the Cullens have never slipped up. Okay, about 3 or 2. Also, Jasper WAS a red-eyed vampire. So, like a recovering drug user, he has used and abused but is done with his drug. Of course, he will slip up. As a newborn, a vampire's desire for blood is strongest during these years. As for "killing" Bella, Bella had asked for it, he most definitely did not plan it, and if he didn't do this, Bella would've died anyway. I think I'm done here.

As a Twilight addict, I want to know anything and everything that pertains to the series. What I liked most about A New Dawn is that it answered a lot of questions that I was curious about. Like how much the werewolves have in common with other Native American werewolves. I also really enjoyed hearing what other authors thought about one of my favorite series. If you love Twilight, you have to read A New Dawn.

i just read the sample of it and she is making edward sound true minster which he is not. but i will still read it because the way she wrote it its so interesting. for all the twifans out there i remmend do not read it because you will get pissed off.

This is a fail of a book! I wish I could unread what I just read. Im 12 and I have better sense than that! I think its sweet when edward would sit in her room. You make him seem like a sociopathic moron whos a creepy stalker that wants to kill bella! He only changed her cause he KNEW she would die without it! Also, the fact that some of those facts were because he was a vampire!!!!!!!!!!!! Twihards, dont ever read this book. You will get mad and wanna erase the book from your memory. Hey, any one by a stoke of luck, have a time machine so I could unread this book? No? DONT READ ITTTTT

After reading just the sample of this book, I can't help but agree with some of what was written. But in defense of the Cullens, would you (or anyone) really choose the life and pay rate of a janitor as opposed to the life of someone who saves lives? Why should the Cullens live in poverty, when they can do things rhat make such a difference in other's lives?

Would you suggest that Edward drive an old 1951 Chevy truck, so that he doesn't draw attention to himself? What good would that do, as he himself said that everything about HIM was designed to draw people in. His scent, his unatural beauty, his voice? How could anyone pay that much attention to what he drives?

These are young people, or they were when their lives ended, so what if they want what was taken away from them. They are compensating for lost futures. If I died at an early age and was given the chance to "live" again, I damn sure wouldn't choose a life of poverty!

Is Edward a predatore? Yes, does he want to be? No. I think all of them are taking advantage of what they have left. They can't go back to being human, so they do the best with what they have.

With the exception of Jasper, they all have learned to fight their natural instincts, it goes against WHAT they are, but still they manage to be WHO they are, against incredible odds.

We also have to understand that we are seeing all of them through Bella's eyes. Through her mind. They admit they are not as perfect as how she believes them to be, but without the advantage of reading through Edward's mind, we will never know HOW he sees himself, other than what he has admitted to Bella. He does see himself as a monster, but we are only left with the overwhelming feelings of perfection, from Bella's view.

Different perceptions.

Aftwr I read the entire book, I will no doubt have more to say, but this review is based on the sample read.
