Not only are the recipes enticing, but the stories about local clam shacks are a delight especially if you grew up in NE or spent summers there. We've even adapted recipies successfully if we didn't have all the ingredients available -- just flipped through other recipes to find an ingredient to substitute! A great gift idea for birthdays or wedding showers. Include a few of the basic, standard ingredients -- like Old Bay -- and voila you have a great gift! Enjoy as much as we do.
