Overview

The New Financial Advisor represents the new canon of working with client families.  Drawing on existing research and interviews with leading advisors at the top of their game, this book brings together the issues, tools and techniques advisors can use to grow their businesses in a satisfying and responsible way in this new milieu.

In this guidance-oriented book, Dr. Scott Budge gives a broader base of financial advisors the vocabulary and tools to face and embrace this new role-and profit from it.  As a psychologist and former Senior Vice President in a global investment services firm, Dr. Budge has tracked this development for over 15 years on both the buy and sell sides of financial services.  While the drivers of this new phenomenon are many and varied, this book breaks them down into their basic, common trends.
