This is the only book you'll need to help you get started with Kindergarten. It offers easy to read ideas for setting up learning centers, organizing your day, and meeting standards. It also gives ideas for getting parent involved and managing behavior. The step by step walk-throughs of daily activities are sure to make your day easier! Don't be without this book!

As a new teacher of Kindergarten, this is the single most useful book I have come across. It provides detailed descriptions and examples of how to run your day in Kindergarten. It explains how to begin the school year, what to do in morning meeting, how to plan and teach reading, math, and centers, and ideas for including the family. It also gives great ideas for projects, songs, and books to read. This book has taught me more about how to teach than I learned in four years of education classes because it is specific, detailed, and easy to read. Any novice or experienced K teacher shouldn't be without this book. Its the only one you'll need to buy!
