A nostalgic snapshot of the city as New Orleanians boldly stepped in to the 20th Century. The dawn of the 20th century brought New Orleanians more entertainment choices for both families and adults. Mary Lou Widmer knows her stuff. All you have to do is read a page or two of any non fiction book of hers for almost any info you need. I own the 50's and 60's right now, I just need my gift card to continue to buy my favorite historians books.
