About the Author

Dana Holyfield grew up in Southern Louisiana across the lake from New Orleans. She has authored several Cajun themed cookbooks that include, Swamp Cooking with the River People, Swamp Country Cooking, Cajun Sexy Cooking. She has also written novellas and children's books. She is mostly known for her books about the legendary Honey Island Swamp Monster. You may have seen her make guest appearances on the Travel Channel and History Channel. Dana has self-published most of her book titles that usually include photographs and storytelling.
