    Just Like Mom!

    I love this book, the receipes and stories are like a little bit of home. The food is delicious and with every receipe you want to make more! There are not many Polish cookbooks out the with the qualities of the one, I was so excited about this book, I honestly had gotten it from the libriary and went out to purchase it. It is that Good I had to have it for myself! Every receipe is 5 stars! They all turn out beautifuly. I love the photography and stories in this book. It is quality all the way through. A must have if you are Polish!

    1st generation Pole and avid cook

    I already have an entire bookshelf dedicated to Polish cuisine/cookbooks (including a few ancient cookbooks written in Polish). Chef Baruch's lively stories, historic research, and clear recipes are a breath of fresh air. Numerous recipes have a brief introduction/story and concise cooking tips. He clearly presents his recipes for the culinary enjoyment of family, friends, and readers. Even my gastronomically picky Polish relatives rave about this book...where the rye bread recipes alone are worth the price of admission!!! While all my other Polish cookbooks are quietly gathering dust, this one is left on the counter and frequently used. Thank you Michael Baruch for your obvious time and energy in creating this masterpiece. It doesn't get any better than this.

    best polish book ever

    I think this book really does top the charts it really does show polish cooking at its best. I think it is definatly a winner and buy it when you get the chance to. I hope the book sales go high mike and i know u will go hight too.

    best polish cookbook, best polish chef

    chef mike has taken the art of polish cooking to a higher level!his recipes are beautiful, the pictures will blow you away. its about time that polish food gets the respect it deserves. this is an excellent piece of work that will sell for generations. good job mike
