New Politics are a trio from Denmark who relocated to Brooklyn before recording their self-titled debut album for RCA. The relocation process may have included some time travel, because listening to the album is like stepping back into the middle of the 1990s alt-rock scene. The members of the band have all clearly and fully absorbed the era, and their sound takes elements from the top bands of the time.
